This 2025 Toyota Sequoia SR5 is an eight-passenger full-size hybrid SUV with four-wheel drive. Its V6 gas engine produces 389 horsepower at 5,200 rpm and 479 lb-ft of torque at 2,400 rpm. Airbag coverage includes dual front airbags, front side airbags, dual front knee airbags, and side curtain airbags covering all three rows, and the front seats have active head restraints. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes (13.9-inch front, 13.6-inch rear) with ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution, and brake assist. A post-collision safety system can cut fuel and unlock doors after an impact. Additional features include a rear seat reminder, LATCH child seat anchors, child safety locks, an alarm, and an engine immobilizer. On the outside, the Sequoia has LED headlights with manual leveling, automatic on/off, automatic high beams, wiper activation, and a delay-off feature. It also has LED fog lights, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, and approach lamps. The heated side mirrors are power-adjustable, power-folding, and auto-dimming, with integrated turn signals and a reverse-tilt feature. Active grille shutters and an acoustic windshield are included. The rear wiper activates automatically in reverse, and the rear windows have privacy glass. The SUV rides on aluminum alloy wheels with all-season tires and a tire pressure monitoring system, with a full-size steel spare mounted under the body. The front suspension is an independent double-wishbone design with a stabilizer bar, and the rear uses a multi-link solid axle. Both ends have coil springs and twin-tube gas shocks. Electric power steering is speed-proportional.
